Meet Amy
Amy is a board certified pelvic health physical therapist and a certified pelvic health sexuality counselor. She has been helping patients with pelvic floor dysfunction achieve their wellness goals for over 11 years. Amy offers physical therapy services through Rising Wellness, a cash-based clinic as well as mentoring for new or future pelvic health practitioners.
About me:
I’m a board-certified pelvic floor physical therapist with over 12 years of clinical experience, passionate about helping people love their bodies. After nearly a decade in a fast-paced hospital system, I transitioned into private practice—first alongside a mentor and friend, and now in my own solo clinic, Rising Wellness, located in Zionsville, Indiana.
Rising Wellness was built with one mission: to provide individualized, holistic pelvic floor physical therapy in a safe, inclusive space. After experiencing the limitations and frustrations of working within insurance-based care, I made the decision to move to a fully private pay model. This allows me to offer longer, more focused sessions and create truly personalized care plans without compromise or distraction.
My clinical work centers on treating pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, sexual health concerns, and more. Every treatment is tailored to your specific body and goals—rooted in compassion, clinical expertise, and a deep respect for the mind-body connection.
I serve as a faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at IU Indy, where I share my passion for pelvic health with future physical therapists. I believe education is a cornerstone of healing, both in the clinic and the classroom. I love helping patients understand their own anatomy and empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
In addition to board certification, I have advance training in pelvic rehab through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and visceral mobilization through the Barral Institue where I have served as a teaching assistant for both organizations. I also offer pelvic floor dry needling and hold a certification as a pelvic health sexuality counselor, allowing me to address the often-overlooked connection between pelvic health and intimacy
At Rising Wellness, I welcome individuals of all genders, backgrounds, and identities. Whether you're seeking help with chronic pelvic pain, incontinence, dyspareunia, prolapse, or just looking to reconnect with your body, I offer evidence-based, whole-person care in a supportive environment.
If you're looking for a compassionate, experienced pelvic floor physical therapist in Zionsville or the greater Indianapolis area, I’d be honored to join your team.
